The Federal Teachers’ Scheme registration 2020 is on now and it’s open to all eligible Nigerians.
The Federal Teachers’ Scheme (FTS) is a two-year intervention programme brought by the Federal Government since 2016 aimed at assisting states in addressing teacher shortage at the basic education level.
Public Relations Officer of the commission, Dr Ossom Ossom, confirmed this to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja, following skepticism about the authenticity of the recruitment.
A document obtained by NAN from the UBEC Headquarters in Abuja, confirming the recruitment, noted that applications were currently being invited from eligible candidates for the 2020 and 2021 service periods.

Only applicants who meet ALL of the following criteria are eligible to apply for the current UBEC Federal Teachers Scheme:
Applicant are to Visit https://fts.admissions.cloud/home to complete the online form and submit.
Applicant will be need to upload their credentials and their most recent passport photograph.
The Federal Government shall pay participants a monthly allowance of N30,000. The service period for the Federal Teachers Scheme shall be two(2) years and can still depends on what the Universal Basic Education Commission want.
Shortlisted candidates shall need to sit for a computer-Based Test scheduled to hold on Saturday, 10th October, 2020. Information concerning states exams shall be communicated to only successful candidates.
